Mollie Haney Quinn, 90, formerly of 6 Carter St., Inman, SC passed away Sunday, August 5th, at Brookside Rehab. & Care in Burnsville, NC. Mrs. Quinn was born in Burnsville, NC on June 14, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Sarah (Byrd) Haney. She was the widow of Francis William Quinn and was a member of Gramling United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a special niece Jo Ann McCurry and her husband Robert of Burnsville, NC. who made sure that her needs were fulfilled while in Burnsville. Also surviving are nieces Beverly Peterson, Lisa Haney, Stella Nicks, two nephews, David and Russell Haney and sister-in-law, Kathleen Haney. There are six great nieces and nephews and six great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five sisters and three brothers.
Graveside services will be held at Gramling United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gramling, SC, at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 8th, with Rev. Ben Herlong officiating.The visitation will be held one hour before the service at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society ,P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
