Inman, SC
Mitchell Edward Sudduth, 55, of 215 Lynch Estates Dr. passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.
Mitchell was born in Spartanburg, SC on May 15, 1957, son of the late Jim and Eugenia Bagwell Sudduth. He was the husband of Corliss (Lynch) Sudduth for over 32 years and was a longtime employee at IWG Conductors in Inman. Mitchell was a member of Dependent Baptist Church and enjoyed sports including his Carolina Gamecocks, Byrnes Rebels and drag racing. He recently became an MTM for the amateur wrestler, "Southern Outlaw" and loved being a member of the morning posse at Hickory Point.
Surviving in addition to his wife Corliss is his son Warren McAbee of Wellford, SC, a sister, Janice Sudduth of Spartanburg and a brother Tony Sudduth of Duncan. He loved his two grandsons, Wyatt and Walker McAbee and his special daughter-in-law, Jennifer McAbee. His best canine companion was his dog "Jackie".
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Dependent Baptist Church conducted by his pastor, Rev. Joe Geddes. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
