Mitchell Leland Lawson, 37, of Campobello, South Carolina, passed away peacefully, Friday, December 10, 2021, at Prisma Health Greer Memorial Hospital. Mitchell was born in Greer, South Carolina, on January 25, 1984, a son of Kenneth Ray Lawson and Deborah Marlene (Pittman) Lawson, of Campobello, South Carolina.
In addition to his parents, Mitchell is survived by a son, Thorne Lawson; a sister, Hallie Lancaster and her husband, John Carl Lancaster; two nieces, Rachel and Emma Lancaster; four nephews, Carl, James, Charles and Thomas Lancaster. He is also survived by his grandmother, Marlene "Granny Red" Pittman, and many cousins, aunts and uncles, who loved and supported him all throughout his life.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 13, 2021, at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, South Carolina, conducted by, Rev. Shane Ezell and Dr. Rufus Edmisten. A private committal service will be held at a later date.
