Mitchel Frank Ward, 77, of 535 Cider Park Drive, Boiling Springs, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg. 

Mr. Ward was born on November 19, 1945, a son of the late Margaret Helen Gossett Ward and William Homer Ward. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, but soon after moved with his family to the Saxon Community in Spartanburg 
He was the husband of Anita Edwards Ward and served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War with the Seabees. He was retired sales manager at Mayo Auto Sales and was an active member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church in Inman. 
In addition to his wife Anita, he is also survived by a daughter, Noelle Waddell of Chesnee and a grandson, Caleb Waddell and his wife, Shiann, of Boiling Springs. He was also predeceased by a sister, Joanne W. Ellison, in addition to his parents.
Services will be held at Lake Bowen Baptist Church at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 10, 2022 conducted by Rev. Brad Atkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake Bowen Baptist Church Building Fund, for the youth center, 404 Sugar Ridge Rd., Inman, SC 29349.
