Miriam Loftis McClure

Miriam McClure, 84, of 22585 Asheville Hwy, Landrum, SC, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Miriam was born in Walnut Grove, SC on July 4, 1940, a daughter of the late Lollie (Jackson) Loftis and Marion Loftis.

She was the widow of Dennis Taylor McClure and was owner and operator of La Plaza Beauty Salon in Tryon, NC.,

She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Landrum, SC .

Miriam is survived by a daughter, Sherri Hause and husband Randy, of Lyman, SC and a brother, Robert Loftis, of Hawaii.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens .

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 705 SC-14, Landrum, SC 29356.
