Minnie Jones Bishop

Minnie Jones Bishop, 85, of 167 Conley Circle passed away Monday, February 18th. Mrs. Bishop was born in Sloatsburg, N. Y. on October 8, 1927, a daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Fletcher Jones and was the widow of William E. Bishop. She was a member of Landrum Wesleyan Church and had retired from textiles.
Survivors include four daughters, Trudy Wirchball and husband Edmond, Sharon Caldwell and husband Wes, Karen Lawson and husband John, Susan J. Rhyne and husband Paul, four sons, William T. Bishop, James E. Bishop, Sammy J. Bishop and wife Dora, Terry Lee Bishop and wife Lisa and a brother, George Jones. There are 18 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three daughters, Harriett Kilpatrick, Mary Ann Garrett and Martha Jane Bishop.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Inman Cemetery conducted by Rev. John Elmore, Jr. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Seawright Funeral Home. Serving as active pallbearers will be: Jeff & Chris Wirchball, Eric Kilpatrick, CJ., Heath, and William Bishop, Phillip Garrett, Jason Bishop and Vance Lawson. The family will be at 216 Church St., Wellford, SC.
