Mrs. Mildred Solesbee Whiteside, 76, of 63 Blackstock Road, Inman passed away Saturday, March 14th, 2009 at Magnolia Manor of Inman
Mrs. Whiteside was born in Spartanburg, SC on January 28, 1933, the daughter of the late Wiley and Pearl (Clayton) Solesbee and was the widow of Wade Whiteside, Sr..
She is survived by 2 sons: Wade "Buddy" Whiteside, Jr. of Campobello, Jerry Whiteside of York, SC, 4 sisters: Faye Morgan of Lyman, Frankie Henderson of Lyman, Lonnie Kyle of Inman, Willie Mae Garrett of Inman, 1 brother: James Solesbee of Lyman, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She worked as a nurse's assistant at Allen Bennett Hospital and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church, Inman, SC
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Monday 10:00 - 11 :00 AM at Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church at 11 :00 AM on Monday, March 16th, with Dr. Tim Clark officiating. .
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
