Mildred Ezell Mckinney

Spartanburg, SC--- Mildred Ezell McKinney, 98, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born in Chesnee, SC on December 7, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Dean and Maggie (Hutchins) Ezell and was the wife of the late James Dwight McKinney. Mrs. McKinney attended Southside Baptist Church was a homemaker. She enjoyed working as a Red Cross Volunteer at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for over 30 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Marlene M. Comer of Spartanburg, SC and a son, David B. McKinney of Chesnee, SC; three grandchildren, Keith Comer, Jr. and his wife Royal, Mark Comer and his wife Gini and James D. McKinney, Jr. and his wife Allison and six great grandchildren, Milo Comer, Olivia Comer, Ryan Comer, Savannah McKinney, Jenna McKinney and Brendan McKinney.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two daughters, Loraine McKinney and Nita Nell McKinney, one son, Harold E. McKinney and two sisters, Irma Ryan and Virginia Ezell.

Services will be private.
