Mildred Jeanette Davis
Mrs. Mildred Jeanette Davis, 77, of 550 Gramling School Rd. Inman, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 22nd, 2007.
Mrs. Davis was born in Spartanburg, SC on December 27, 1929, the daughter of the late James Osborne and Mary (McDowell) Page and was the wife of the late Lloyd Arthur Davis for 42 years.
She retired from Lyman Mills and was also worked at the Inman Cleaners for a number of years. She was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church and was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class.
She is survived by two daughters, Kay D. Gwinn of Inman and Karen D. Drake and her husband Barney of Seneca, one brother, Bud Page of Inman and three sisters Rose Mathis of Inman, Lucille Hall of Inman and Katheline Gwinn of Lyman and two grandchildren Julia P. Drake and John R. Drake both of Seneca. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Timothy R. Gwinn one brother Jim Page and one sister Madely Hayes.
Funeral services will be held at Holston Creek Baptist Church, Inman, SC, at 3 PM on Sunday, December 23rd, with Rev. Reggie Parker and Rev. Donnan Lawson and Rev. Deborah Steed officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Inman, SC.
The family is at the home, 550 Gramling School Rd., Inman and will receive friends Sunday 1 :30-3 PM. at Holston Creek Baptist Church.
