Mildred Grace Brown, 85, of 405 North Main Street, Greer passed away Tuesday, June 17th, at her home after an extended illness.
Born in Spartanburg on November 25, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Lillie Maggie Mae Pruitt Holden and Albert E. Holden. She was the wife of Robert Jesse Brown.
She was a homemaker and was a lifelong member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, is survived by two daughters; Judy Greer and husband Donald of Greer, Joyce Jones and husband Robby of Lyman, one son; Hank Brown and his wife Renata of Wyoming, three grandchildren; Travis Greer, Kimberly Greer, Graham Jones, and one great grandchild; Mikayla Cooper. She was predeceased by two grandsons; Infant Kevin Greer and Bobby Jones.
The family is at 405 N. Main Street, Greer and will receive friends Saturday 3:00-5:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Walnut Hill Baptist Church at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 22nd, with Rev. Gary Hensley officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills 130 Forest Glen Drive Columbus, NC 28722.
