Mildred Aileen Clayton Anders, 90, of 815 White Magnolia Drive, Inman, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Rosecrest Retirement Community in Inman.
Mildred was born in Campobello, SC on April 29, 1931, a daughter of the late Genevieve (Sawyer) Clayton and James Newton Clayton. She was the widow of Thomas B Anders.
Mildred was formerly employed at Roses in Spartanburg and retired from the State Highway Department.
She was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church where she taught the Encouragers Sunday School Class.
Mildred is survived by two sons Clayton Anders (Linda), of Inman; Steve Anders (Kathy), of Inman; a sister, Ruth Ell Collins, of Landrum, three grandchildren, Alisha Collins (Todd), Carmen Ezell (Nate), Stephanie McSwain (Byron), three great grandchildren, Carly Ezell, Mollie McSwain and Maggie McSwain. Mildred was predeceased by a brother, Vaughn Clayton, and a sister, Georlene Duncan.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, April 29th at Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM at Walnut Hill Baptist Church with Rev Scott Lewellen officiating.
Mausoleum Encryptment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Walnut Hill Baptist Church, 675 Walnut Hill Church Rd., Campobello, SC 29322.
