Spartanburg, SC---Mr. Mickey Glenn Quinn, 61, of 272 Autumn Glen Dr. went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 6, 2013.
Born in Spartanburg, SC on August 14, 1952, he was the son of the late Lois (Godfrey) and Clarence Eugene Quinn, Sr. and was the husband of Ruth (Hall) Quinn.
Mr. Quinn was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam War and was a was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He had worked for RR Donnelley and was a volunteer with Regional Hospice for many years.
In addition to his wife, Ruth he is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Quinn Grieder and her husband James of Havelock, NC; two step-sons, Jeremy Coleman of Greenville, SC and Ryan Coleman and his wife Tracie of Inman, SC; four brothers, Eugene Quinn, Jr. of Inman, SC, Curtis Quinn of Campobello, SC, James Quinn of New Prospect, SC and Doug Quinn of Socastee, SC; two sisters, Judy Humphries of Landrum, SC and Faye Quinn of Wellford, SC and Eleven grandchildren, Daytona, Charlotte, Sonoma, Talladega and Phoenix Grieder, Dixie, Daisy, Dolly and Della Coleman and Shelby and Gabriel Coleman.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 2-3 PM at Grace Baptist Church in Campobello. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 PM in the church with Rev. Nick Vance, Rev. J.B. Godfrey and Dr. David Duncan officiating. A Private family burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Dr. Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home.
