Mr. Michael Vaughn White, 50, loving husband, father, and grandfather, of 415 Grassland Rd. Campobello died Wednesday, April 6th, 2011.
Mr. White was born in Greensboro, NC on August 8, 1960, the son of the late Carl S. and Lucy Meador White who survives him of Spartanburg.
He was the husband of Linda Price White who is the Director of Transportation for Spartanburg County School District Two. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Charles Michael White and his wife Ashley of Campobello, Steven Lynn White and his wife Brandi of Campobello, two brothers, Kenneth White of Inman, Bruce "Pat" White and his wife Nancy of Gowensville, one sister, Nancy Giambiasi and her husband Mark of Spartanburg, two grandchildren, Kaleb and Kailyn White and several nieces and nephews as well as many friends and children that he called his adopted family.
He was formerly employed at M & J Machine Shop where he was a metal fabricator and welder.
He was a Baptist and a mason.
The family is at 455 Grassland Road and will receive friends Saturday 1-2:00pm at Seawright Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 9th, with Rev. Tommy Turner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cleveland Park Accident Fund. Donations may be made at any First Piedmont Federal Bank in Gaffney or Spartanburg.
