Chesnee ,SC---Mr. Michael Hugh Stuart, 71, of 189 Cranston Dr. Chesnee died Saturday, June 4th, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, SC.
Mr. Stuart was born in Denver, Colorado on March 9, 1940 and was the son of the late Helen Atkinson Stuart.
He was the husband of Glenna Miller McGee Stuart and was a co-owner of a classic cars studio in Denver, Colorado. He was a graduate of The University of Northern Colorado and had served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jimmy Donn Blankenship of Tallahassee, Florida; Charles Scott Blankenship of Greenville, South Carolina; a daughter, Candace Renee Blankenship of Denver, Colorado; and a sister, Nancy Stuart of Richmond, Virginia.
A private memorial service will be held later.
