Michael Ray Smith, 55, of 764 North Church Street, Apartment 1107, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Landrum, South Carolina. Michael was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on July 31, 1960, a son of the late Martin Mason and Anna Daniels Smith. Michael was a former cleaning service representative and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Smith is survived by two sisters; Mary Ann Dempster, of Spartanburg, South Carolina ; Jeannie Smith, of Union, South Carolina and a brother, Johnny F. Smith and his wife Dietra of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, and several nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by two brothers: Tommy and Charles Smith and one sister Pamela Jane Jackson. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Michael Ray Smith Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 192, Inman, South Carolina 29349
