Michael "Mike" William Martin

Michael "Mike" William Martin, 76, of Campobello, South Carolina passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Gastonia, North Carolina on October 11, 1945, he was the son of Lloyd Martin and Nancy Williams Hartung and stepson of Fred Hartung. He was the husband of Alesia Camp Martin.

Mike retired from UL Underwriters Services and was a member of Rejoice Lutheran Church.  He also served in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in the Philippines during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife, Alesia he is also survived by three daughters, Liz Martin of Gastonia, North Carolina, Jenny Martin and her husband Noel Nardo of Asheville, North Carolina and Sarah Martin of Spartanburg, South Carolina and two sisters, Kay Gordon of Gastonia, North Carolina and Jean Barnes of Columbia, South Carolina along with one granddaughter, Kelsey Lovett.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday May 28, 2022 at Rejoice Lutheran Church, 4 Walnut Street, Inman, South Carolina with Rev. Jeff Valentine officiating.
