Michael Wayne Gwinn, 66, of 205 Plantation Lane Inman, passed away Saturday, October 31st, at his residence. A native of Spartanburg, Michael was born on May 17, 1949, a son of the late Samuel Clifton and Annie Evelyn Tweed Gwinn. Mr. Gwinn is survived by his wife Frances Robbins Gwinn of the home.
Michael was a former employee with Butte Knit and was retired from Williams' Gas Company. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by; a daughter, Sandra G. Smith and her husband Steven of Anderson; a step daughter, Lisa S Austin and her husband Lonnie of Boiling Springs; a step son,Allan Stephens and his wife Angela of Spartanburg; a sister, Barbara Drennan of Drayton, and six grandchildren, Heather Stephens, Cole Stephens, Autumn Austin, Clark Austin, Michael Smith and Skylar Smith.
Mr. Gwinn was predeceased by one brother; Ray Gwinn and one sister; Debra Greene
Visitation will be held, Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 1:30 until 2:30 PM. at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at at Seawright Funeral Home, at 3:00 PM on Tuesday with Rev. Ansel Norris officiating.
Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs.
The family is at the residence.
