Inman,SC--Mr. Merle William Putt, 80, of 607 Aurora Ct. Spartanburg died Monday, February 28th, 2011 at White Oak Manor Nursing Home in Spartanburg, SC.
Mr. Putt was born in Olean, NY on October 7, 1930, the son of the late William Henry and Alvina Putt. He is survived by two sons, Tim Putt of Spartanburg, Michael Putt of Liberty, SC; two daughters, Roberta Faes of Smethport, P A., Kathleen Davenport of Clearwater, FL; a brother, Ronnie Putt of Olean, NY; two sisters, Bonnie Gardner of Alghani, NY, Ruth McCarthey of Cuba, NY; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held in Ole an, NY at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
