Mr. Melvin Evens Graham, 84, of 1670 Sugar Ridge Road, Boiling Springs passed away Thursday, June 19th, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Graham was born in Inman, S.C. on June 15, 1924, the son of the late Melvin Hoyet and Mary (Clement) Graham.
He is survived by two sisters: Katharine Callahan of Inman, Betty Mizell of Jonesboro, GA, one brother: Allan Graham of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by a brother: James R. Graham.
He retired from Firestone Rubber Co.He was a member of lnman First Baptist Church, Inman Lions Club, Inman Masonic Lodge #201 and the Eastern Star.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 22nd, with Dr. Paul Moore and Rev. Jerry Adkins officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Sunday 1:30 PM- 2:30 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. .
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman First Baptist Church Building Fund, 14 N. Howard Street, Inman, SC 29349.
