 Melody Kay Wright, 73, of 471 Carriage Gate Drive, Wellford, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center. 
Melody was born in Spartanburg on March 14, 1949, a daughter of the late Orpha Clayton Skinner and Howard  Eston "Bill" Skinner. She was the wife of Gary William Wright of the home.
She was a 1967 graduate of Chapman High School and had retired from Coca Cola in Spartanburg. She was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman. 
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a son, Brian Wright of Wellford, and cousins, Gayle Quinn McCants, Roger Harmon, Dewayne Clayton, and Myra Campbell.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 8th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating. The family is at the home and will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holston Creek Baptist Church, 311 Holston Creek Road, Inman, SC 29349.
