Melissa Lynn Wolfe Henderson, 51, of 113 Letha Lane passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 17th, 2016 at her residence. Melissa was born in Spartanburg, SC on June 25, 1965, a daughter of Carroll Fred Wolfe, Sr., of Spartanburg and the late Bobbie Carolyn (Willard) Wolfe. She was the beloved wife of Sergeant Major Andrew Henderson. She worked at Palmetto Health Ophthalmology in Columbia, SC as an Ophthalmic Tech. She was a former member of First Baptist North Spartanburg.
Melissa is survived by a son Alexander Charles Henderson and a daughter, Morgan Jeanette Church and her husband William Austin Church all of Lexington, SC, a brother, Carroll Fred Wolfe, Jr. of Logan, AL. and a precious granddaughter, Olivia Jeanette Church. She was predeceased by a sister, Claudia Jeanette Wolfe.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 20, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at First Baptist North Spartanburg. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist North Spartanburg at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 21st, 2016 conducted by Dr. Michael Hamlet. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at the home of her father, Carroll Wolfe, 510 Honeysuckle Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
