Melba LeGrand Long, 94, of 400 Webber Road, Spartanburg, SC, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at White Oak Estates in Spartanburg. Melba was born in Danville, Va on September 2, 1924, a daughter of the late Carrie Lee Cook Long and Oswald LaGrand Long. She retired as a art history professor at Converse College having taught for over 34 years. No funeral services are planned.
