Maxie Bebber Camp, 94, of 2 Birch Street, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Greer, South Carolina. Maxie was born in Japan, North Carolina on February 15, 1922, a daughter of the late Mac and Effie Marcus Bebber. She was the widow of Mr. Frank Ervin Camp. Mrs. Camp was a retired administrative assistant with Inman Mills and a member of Graceway Baptist Church. Mrs. Camp is survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers; Earl Bebber and Elmer Bebber and five sisters; Cleo Jackson, Edna Andrews, Irene Sawyer, Jewel Hadden and Carma Bebber. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by Rev. Jan King. Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the, Alzheimer's Association, SC Chapter 4124, Clemson Blvd., Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621 or to Brookdale Hospice, 25 Woods Lake Road, Unit 45, Greenville, SC 29609.
