Matthew "Matt" Earl Rogers

Matthew "Matt" Earl Rogers, 53, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on October 13, 1970, a son of Loretta (Vaughn) Rogers and the late Mr. Clyde Jefferson Rogers.

Matt was of the Baptist faith and worked as a  market manager at Publix.  He loved riding his motorcycle and enjoyed spending time with his friends.  

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by nine cousins, Roger Fisher, Hollis Cantrell, Terry Cantrell, Angela Jones, Amanda Leonardi, Kellie Foster, Joanna Vaughn, Judy Wilkie and Dexter Cooksey.

He was also predeceased by one cousin, Wanda Fisher Wehunt; infant brother, Eric Rogers and two half-sisters, Ginger West and Patty Linton.  

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, South Carolina with Dr. David Duncan and Mr. Britt Wilkerson officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 980 Bishop Rd. Inman, SC 29349 or Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. 

The family is at the home of Joe and Judy Vaughn, 571 Windmill Hill Road, Inman, South Carolina, 29349.
