Mary Workman Horne

Mary Workman Horne, 77, of 180 Albus Drive, Wellford, SC, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Ashlan Village in Lyman, SC.

Mary was born in Inman, SC on November 8, 1946, a daughter of the late Essie Mae (Hudgins) Workman and Leroy Workman.

She was the wife of Jacky Horne, retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Hope Church in Spartanburg, SC.

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by a daughter, Marie Bracken (Chip), of Wellford, SC; two sons, Michael Horne, of Duncan, SC; Bryan Horne, of Lyman, SC; three sisters, Margie McAbee, of Boiling Springs, SC; Betty Kimmons, of Inman, SC; Tressie Bradey, of Tryon, NC; a brother, Jerry Workman, of Boiling Springs, SC and 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Thomas Eugene Workman, Roy Workman and Edward Workman.

Visitation will be held 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 10th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Seawright Funeral Chapel with Mr. Robbie Dismukes and Pastor Jan King officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Greer, SC.
