Mary Lucille Watkins

Campobello, SC--- Mary Lucille Allison Watkins, 91, of 205 Watkins Road, Campobello, SC, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum. Lucille was born in Transylvania County, NC on February 22, 1924, a daughter of the late Sarah Ellen and Richard Edgar Allison. She was the widow of John Watkins, retired from Holly Springs - Motlow School cafeteria and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Byler (Dan), of Campobello; Betty J. Lawson (Bill), of Campobello; three sons Kenneth W. Allison (Linda), of Campobello; John D. Watkins, of Ridgecrest, CA; Ben A. Watkins (Dale), of Campobello, two sisters, three brothers, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Randy L. Watkins along with four sisters and three brothers. The family is at the home and will receive friends on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 1:00 - 2:30 PM at Holston Creek Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow in the church at 2:30 PM with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
