Mary Edna Tooke Inman, SC
Mary Edna Wingo Tooke, 89, formerly of 4390 New Cut Road, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, South Carolina. A Native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, she was born May 22, 1928, a daughter of the late Paul Booker Wingo and Inez Faulkner Harling Wingo. Mary Edna was the widow of Claude Douglas Tooke, Jr. Mrs. Tooke was a homemaker and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Kim Mathis and her husband, Steve of Inman, South Carolina; a son, Keith Tooke of Spartanburg, South Carolina; a sister, Ruth Cook of Inman, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Brandon Mathis and his fiance, Rebecca Monroe, Haley Blanton and her husband, Chad Blanton, Amber Tooke and Kyle Tooke; two great-grandchildren, Fletcher and Peyton. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Tooke was predeceased by a brother, Harold Wingo. Visitation will be held, Monday, July 3, 2017 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 3, 2017 conducted by Dr. Tim Clark. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, South Carolina.
