Mary Ruth Hammett Stephens Dluzewski, 95, of 280 Grogan Road, Inman, SC, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Mary was born in Spartanburg County, SC on September 13, 1920, a daughter of the late John James and Ruth Esther (Collins) Hammett. She was the widow of Joseph Dluzewski and was first married to the late Judson Daniel Stephens. She retired from Butte Knit and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church. Mary is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Atkins (Jack), of Greer; two sons Gary Stephens (Mildred), Tony Stephens (Kathy), of Greer; three grandchildren, Gregg Stephens (Jo Carol), Bill Painter (Kelly), Lisa Robinson (Tony) and two great grandsons, Tyler Stevens and Jimmy Painter. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC, with Rev Bill Painter officiating. The family will receive friends at graveside immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303
