Mary Faye Renfro Crocker
Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on October 20, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Duran Keel Renfro and Audie Myrtle (Brown) Renfro and was the wife of the late Carl Lewis Crocker having celebrated 39 years of marriage before his passing.
She was lifelong member of First Baptist North Spartanburg where she served as an usher and as a Sunday School Teacher.
Mrs. Crocker was a graduate of the University of South Carolina, worked as the County Clerk of Court and taught school from 1977-1992 where she will be remembered by many for teaching 4th grade at Boiling Springs Elementary School.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Hall and her husband Wesley of Inman, South Carolina; her two grandchildren that her world revolved around, Joshua Hall and Hannah Hall; one brother, Kenneth Renfro and three half siblings, John Renfro, Ray Renfro and Betty Chalk and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by four siblings, Myrtle Barnette, Robert Renfro, Bertie Gilbert and NJ (Nim) Renfro.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 10:00-10:45 AM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Michael Hamlet and Dr. Johnny Renfro officiating. Entombment will be in the Heritage Mausoleum at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
