Mary Harrison Rellis

Mary Harrison Rellis, 92, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at White Oak Estates.

Born in Hollonville, Georgia on April 11, 1934, a daughter of the late Susie Grace (Pennington) Harrison and Sacious Harrison and was the wife of the late Morton Robert Rellis.

Mrs. Rellis worked as a school teacher for many years and was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Susannah Joiner and her husband Marvin and Tamara Shue; one grandson, Ian Shue; one sister, Nancy Harrison Tuggle; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Harrison along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by one son-in-law Tim Shue and four brothers, David Harrison, Bobby Harrison, Harold Harrison and Wayne Harrison.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, South Carolina.
