Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Taylor Prewette, 94, of 47 Blackstock Rd. Inman passed away Monday, January 7th, 2008 at Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster, SC.
Mrs. Prewette was born in Woodruff, SC on March 25, 1913, the daughter of the late Noah and Ida (Linderman) Taylor.
She is survived by one daughter: Mildred Prewette of Heath Springs, one sister: Barbara Crawford of Spartanburg, three grandsons: Wayne and wife Melody Abernathy of Heath Springs, Jerry and wife Debra Hipp of Greer, Billy Hipp of Spartanburg, one granddaughter: Angie and husband Ronnie Dorn of Inman, great-grandchildren: Brandon Abernathy of Heath Springs, Kayla Abernathy of Heath Springs, Joshua Hipp, Adam Hipp, Morgan Hipp all of Greer, Hannah Dorn and Lucas Dorn both of Inman and several nieces and nephews.
She was the widow of Milo Malon Prewette, retired from Inman Mills and was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 10th, with Rev. Jack Hames officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Inman, SC.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Wednesday 7-9 PM. at Seawright Funeral Home.
