Mary Jean Burnett Petchecco

December 25, 1925 — November 7, 2008

Mary Jean Burnett Petchecco of 380 Foster Rd. died at her home, "Cedar Nook", Friday, November 7, 2008 after a lingering illness. Born in Tryon, N. C. on December 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late W.F. and Clara Sheehan Burnett. She was predeceased by her late husband, Chico Petchecco. Having lost her mother at an early age, she was raised by her paternal grandmother, the late Mollie Burnett, known lovingly as " Two Mama". She enjoyed interior design, decorating her home, and antiquing.
Survivors include her husband T.M. Anderson Jr. of Inman, a son, David A. Fowler of Chesapeake, Va., a granddaughter, Stacey Rae of Chesapeake, Va., a sister Mollie Martin of Athens, Alabama, a special niece, Sandra Montgomery of Inman, and a beloved friend, Patricia Cothran also of Inman
She was predeceased by three sisters: Frances B. Smith, Doris B. Blackwell, Shirley Ruth Burnett, and a brother, L.C. Burnett.
Seawright Funeral Home will be facilitating a graveside service at 3:30 P.M.,Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, S. C. Chaplain Matthew Eddleman of Spartanburg Regional Hospice will officiate. Family will be at the home.
