Mary Margaret Morton

Mary Margaret (Clemson) Morton, 73, of 224 Martha Court, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mary was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on July 22, 1941 and was a daughter of the late John and Evie ( Dowdy) Clemson. She was the loving wife of Robert L. "Bob" Morton and had recently celebrated 18 years of marriage.
Surviving in addition to her husband Bob is a daughter, Barbara Naselius and her husband Ken, two sons, Bruce Fritz and his wife Sylvia, Mark Fritz and his wife Nancy, two sisters, Ella Pender and her husband Eugene and Eve Roe. There are two nieces, Christina and Summer, a nephew, Eugene and eight grandchildren. Bob and Mary enjoyed their beloved canine family and were members of the Pet Protectors Society. Mary was also a member of the Inman First Baptist Church exercise group called the "Silver Sneakers".
A "Celebration of Life" memorial service to honor the memory of Mary Morton will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 3rd, 2015 at the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Dr. Tim Clark. A time of visitation will be held immediately after the service at the funeral home.
