Mrs. Mary Ellen Drake Martin, 56, of 2970 Compton Bridge Road, Campobello passed away Wednesday, May 6th, 2009 at her residence.
Mrs. Martin was born in Victoria, VA on December 27, 1952, the daughter of the late Charles F and Mary (Bentley) Drake who survives her of Landrum. She was the wife of Earl W Martin, a homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Church, Landrum, SC.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by 2 daughters: Tammy Elaine Martin and husband Euan Battson of Inman, Angela Frances Martin Pack and husband Wayne of Inman, 2 sisters: Donna Bowser of Landrum, Ann Stone of Campobello, 4 brothers: Charles W. Drake of Chesnee, Danny Drake of Campobello, Frankie Drake of Inman, Tommy Drake of Landrum, 2 step-sons: Tim Martin and Todd Martin, 3 grandchildren: Corey Martin, Kayla Martin and Cody Bolt. She was predeceased by a son: Samuel Wayne Martin.
The family is at the home of her daughter: 14 Cobble Drive, Inman and her mother, 167 Hwy 11, Landrum and will receive friends Friday 6-8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 9th, with Rev. Tommy Turner officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
