Mary Louise Sawyer Benfield, 65, of 6 Collins Ave, Inman, SC, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Spartanburg Medical Center. She was born in Columbia, SC on October 24, 1950, a daughter of the late William Claude and Beulah Maggie (Rainwater) Sawyer. She was the wife of Jimmy Benfield, a homemaker and a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Tina Kilpatrick and husband Kenneth, of Inman; Tara Tucker and husband Kevin, of Inman; two sisters, Lovera Taylor, of Inman; Sarah Coates, of Inman, two brothers, Thomas Sawyer, of Boiling Springs; James Sawyer, of Inman; six grandchildren, Timberly Maness, Logan Kilpatrick, Klint Tucker, Gabe Tucker, Gracie Tucker, Isaac Tucker, one great grandchild, Madison Maness and another great grandchild expected in January. The family is at the home and will receive friends Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM with Dr Reggie Parker and Rev Steve Sisk officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 2151, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101-2151.
