Mary Lee Ayers Johnson, 96, of 63 Blackstock Rd, Inman, SC, formerly of Boiling Springs passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at Magnolia Manor of Inman.
Mary Lee was born in Inman, S.C. on May 20, 1924, a daughter of the late Cora Mae (Ramseur) Ayers and William Thomas Ayers.
She was the widow of John Douglas Johnson, a homemaker and was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.
Mary Lee is survived by a daughter, Donna Edwards and husband Bruce, of Fairfax, Virginia, one grandson, Phillip Edwards (Barbara), and one great, granddaughter, Genevieve Edwards and two sister-in-law, Linda Johnson and Celia Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Brenda Johnson; one sister, Thelma Camp; two brothers, Pinckney Ayers and Clarence Ayers.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg, SC with Rev Bobby Lindsey officiating. The family will receive friends at the gravesite immediately following the service.
