Mary Jean Garra

Spartanburg, SC---Mrs. Mary Jean Garra, 78, of 110 Conner St. passed away Sunday, November 11th, at the Spartanburg Hospital For Restorative Care. Born in Kingsport, TN on June 28, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Gladys (Light) Laughlin and the wife of the late Mr. Russell Eugene Garra. Mrs. Garra was a homemaker and of the Non-Denominational Church of Christ faith.

She is survived by three children, Rebecca DeBerry and her husband Phillip of Chesnee, Russell Garra of Georgia and Theresa Ensley of Spartanburg; one brother, Fred Laughlin of Ohio and four grandchildren, Robert Slatt, Christopher Slatt, Rochelle Garra and Matthew Garra. She was predeceased by a daughter, Tanna Slatt and her husband Robert Slatt and a sister, Louise Laughlin.
