Mary Rhoda Johnson Buckner, 74, of 2 Elmhurst Street, Inman passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Spartanburg County, SC on June 7, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Preston P Johnson and Wilma Lee (Rollins) Jolly.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Rhonda Bryant Davis and husband Jeff of Winston Salem, NC, Sherry Bryant Smith and husband Jack of Inman, Sandy Bryant Hood and husband Dennis of Boiling Springs, 3 grandchildren: Kimberly Smith, Clark Davis, Karlie Steadman and one great grandson: Matthew Constance. She was formerly employed at Butte Knitting Mills for over 20 years and retired from the Charles Lea Center. She attended First Baptist Church North Spartanburg.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Tuesday 9:00 - 10:00 AM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at the Seawright Funeral Chapel, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 26.
Burial will be in Inman Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman Cemetery, PO Box 192, Inman, SC 29349.
