Marvin L. White

Marvin Lee White, 76, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg County, South Carolina, Marvin was born on October 6, 1941, a son of the late Otis Lee White and Hallie Ruth Caldwell White. Marvin and his wife, Evelyn Laughter White, were married for almost sixty years. When Marvin retired, he was the co-owner and operator of White's Garage and Wrecker Service in Inman, South Carolina. He was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church of Inman, where he served as a former deacon. He was a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge #201, a master mason and a Shriner.
In addition to his wife, Marvin is survived by a daughter, Kim White Spears and her husband, Blake; two sons, Ray White, Eddie White and his wife, Michelle; a brother, Paul L. White; four grandchildren, Christopher White, Megan White, Matthew Spears, Anna Spears and one great-grandson, Carter Lee White.
Visitation will be held, Thursday, March 29, 2018, from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at Seawright Funeral Chapel, at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 29, 2018, conducted by Rev. Mitch Crow. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, South Carolina.
