Martha Hayes Johnson, 73, of 1791 Hampton Road, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Martha was born in Inman, South Carolina on February 20, 1946, a daughter of the late Albert Hayes and Marian Eubanks Hayes. She was married to her husband, William "Bill" Johnson, for fifty six years. She was a retired phlebotomist at Piedmont Blood Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Before that, she worked as a cosmotologist. Martha was a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church in Boiling Springs, South Carolina.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Johnson is survived by two daughters, Sherry Tate and her husband, Scott, of Inman, South Carolina; Jamie Hollins and her husband, Jeff, of Duncan, South Carolina; a sister, Nancy Tuck and her husband, Fred, of Lyman, South Carolina. Martha is also survived by three grandsons, Kevin Tate and his wife, Brittany; Dakota Johnson and his wife, Brittany; Aaron Tate and his wife, Jennifer and two great-grandsons, Brayden and Raylan Tate
In addition to her parents, Martha was predeceased by one grandson, Will Gossett.
Visitation will be held 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Inman Cemetery in Inman, South Carolina, conducted by, Rev. Joe White.
