Martha Ray Christopher, 65, of 1170 Christopher Road, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019, at her residence. Martha was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on February 9, 1954, a daughter of the late Henry Ray Christopher and Dorothy Sawyer Christopher.
She was the widow of Chuck Keith Burnett. Mrs. Christopher was a registered nurse and was currently employed at Lakewood Assisted Living in Boiling Springs, South Carolina, as their resident care coordinator. She attended New Prospect Baptist Church, loved the mountains and her miniature donkeys and goats.
Martha is survived by a daughter, Misti Small and her husband, Dewayne, of Chesnee, South Carolina; a son, Jason McBee and his wife, Tammy, of Ellerslie, Georgia; a sister, Sandra Brown and her husband, J.C., of Campobello, South Carolina.
Mrs. Christopher is also survived by four grandchildren, Lain Small, Madison Small, Adysen McBee and Sawyer McBee
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, South Carolina, conducted by, Rev. Donna Stroud.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Kindred Hospice, 905 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, South Carolina, 29302.
The families are at their respective homes.
