Martha Ophelia Johnson Bishop, 77, of 7 3rd Street, Inman, SC, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at her home. Martha was born in Inman, S.C. on August 22, 1939, a daughter of the late Huey Chalmers and Virginia (Crow) Johnson. She retired from International Wire and was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church. Martha is survived by two daughters, Tena Kinard, of Inman; Karen Roland, of Hanover, PA; a son,John Bishop, Jr., of Wellford, SC; three brothers, Gene Johnson, of Spartanburg; David Johnson, of Inman; Danny Johnson, of Inman and two grandchildren, Angela Bishop and Jason Bishop. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Friday, August 11, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Seawright Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 11th at the Seawright Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Hames officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
