Martha Aurelia Blanton

Martha Aurelia Blanton, 77, of 811 Ballenger Road, Inman, South Carolina, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 at her residence. 
Martha was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on October 10, 1946, a daughter of the late Ellen Stone McCarter and James McCarter and was the wife of Larry C. Blanton.
She was a graduate of Chapman High School, retired from South Carolina Elastic in Landrum, and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church. 
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two sons; Randy Blanton and Chris Blanton, both of the home, a sister; Shirley Griffin of Inman and a sister-in-law; Ann Blanton of Wellford. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by two brothers, Benny McCarter and J.S. McCarter, a sister; Betty Self; a half-brother; Grady McCarter, and a half-sister; Margaret Stone.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
