Marshall Brock Roper, Jr
Marshall Brock Roper, Jr, 58, of 10048 Asheville Hwy, Inman, SC, passed away Wednesday, July 10th, at his home. Marshall was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 18, 1954, a son of Martha Gail (Cromer) Roper and Marshall Brock Roper, Sr, of Inman. He was the husband of Yvonne (Williams) Roper, was employed as a butcher at Cromer's Abattoir, a member of Inman United Methodist Church, and a member of APA Pool.
Marshall is survived by his step-mother, Aurelia Roper of Inman, three sons Brandon Roper, of Inman; William A Wilburn and fiance' Brittany of Inman; James U Wilburn (Amanda) of Gaffney; two brothers, Johnny Roper, of Inman; Steve Roper, of Inman. He was predeceased by a brother Phillip Roper.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Saturday 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Inman United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held at Inman United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 13th, with Rev Kelly Belcher officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
