Marshall Lee Green

Lyman, SC---Marshall Lee Green, 85, of 1205 Holly Springs Rd. went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Spartanburg, SC on December 22, 1929, he was a son of the late Horace Newton and Minnie (Bagwell) Green and was the husband of the late Betty Lucille Green. Mr. Green served in the U.S. Army Reserve and retired from Mitsubishi after 30 years of employment. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Lyman, SC. He is survived by two daughters, Vickie Green of Wellford and Joan Ensley and her husband Steve of Lyman; a very special granddaughter, Macy Ensley; three brothers, Johnny Green of Spartanburg, Charlie Green of Spartanburg and Carol Butch Green of Wellford; one sister, Alice Lanford of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by three brothers, Sam Green, Jack Green and Ervin Green and one sister, Sarah Pearman. The family will receive friends Saturda,y, January 10, 2015 from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM at Friendship Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Durham officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
