Mark D. Cooley, went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2008 after an extended illness. He was the son of the late John W. Cooley and Lucille C. Cooley who survives him. He is also survived by one sister, Jeanie Cooley and a nephew, Derrick Marler. He leaves behind many blessed cousins, precious caregivers and friends. He was an avid outdoors man and had retired from insurance sales and textiles. Funeral services will be held today, Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 3 PM at New Prospect Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home of Lucille Cooley, 144 Crow Rd.
