Mark Edward Bagwell, 73, of 30 North Howard Street, Inman, SC, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mark was born in Inman, S.C. on May 2, 1944, a son of the late Walter Edward and Blanche (Fowler) Bagwell. He was the husband of Ginger (McIntyre) Bagwell, had retired from Honeywell and was a charter member of Inman First Free Will Baptist Church and the Seasoned Saints Senior Citizens group. In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by three sons Darren Bagwell (Jody), of Inman; Derek Bagwell (Amber), of Fairforest; Scott Bagwell (Holly), of Boiling Springs; three sisters, Lynn Branch, of Inman; Donna Fowler, of Inman; Doreen Gowan, of Chesnee, 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and 2 step great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Pat Parker and a brother, Roger Bagwell. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era and was a member of the Inman American Legion Post #45. The family is at the home of his son, 3 Outter Drive, Inman and will receive friends Friday, January 19th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Inman First Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at Inman First Free Will Baptist Church at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 20th, with Rev Sean Fortner and Rev Terry King officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens in Wellford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ark Youth Ministries, 307 Anastasia Blvd, St Augustine, FL 32080 or Inman First Free Will Missions, 90 Blackstock Rd, Inman, SC 29349.
