Mrs. Marjorie Carole Snow Brannon, 82, of 258 Apple Branch Lane Boiling Springs died Saturday, February 28th, 2009 at Regional Hospice Home.
Mrs. Brannon was born in Spartanburg on January 17, 1927, the daughter of the late Archie Willis and Eunice Evans Snow. She was the widow of Edward Lee Brannon.
She was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg where she was a member of the Chariot Chasers Sunday School Class. She was a loving mother devoted to Jesus, her church, and her family. She served faithfully with Child Evangelism Fellowship at Hendrix Elementary School, AWANA, and The Sugar Ridge Commons Garden Club.
Survivors include three sons; Jim Brannon and his wife Paula of Inman, Terry "Turtle" Brannon and his wife Dottie of Boiling Springs, David Brannon of Boiling Springs, one daughter; Marsha Batson and her husband Randy of Boiling Springs, eight grandchildren; Chad and Josh Brannon, Lee Pitts, Kevin Brannon, Andrew and Blake Batson, Caroline Batson, Crystal Brannon, and one great granddaughter. A son, Reginald "Reggie" Brannon, also predeceased her.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Tuesday 1:30 until 3:00 pm at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 3rd, conducted by Dr. Mike Hamlet. Private entombment will be held following the service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
