Marie Waldrop Tinsley, 92, of 12 W. Clark Rd., Inman, SC, passed away Thursday, April 4th, at Camp Care Nursing Home in Inman. Marie was born in Madison County, NC on November 16, 1920, a daughter of the late William and Josephine (Moore) Waldrop. She was the widow of Boyd Tinsley, a homemaker and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Marie is survived by two daughters, Susan McNabb of Campobello, Mary Stevens of Boiling Springs, two sons, Lewis Tinsley of Boiling Springs, Wayne Tinsley of Nokomis, Florida, one sister, Ann Sizemore of Chesnee, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Ussery, a granddaughter, Lisa Dale, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Graveside services will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 7th, with Rev Gerald Turner officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. The family is at their respective homes.
