Marie Louise Fowler

Marie Louise Spicer Fowler, 78, of 7500 Hwy 357, Campobello, SC, passed away Tuesday, June 19th, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum.

Marie was born in New Prospect, SC on June 7, 1934, a daughter of the late Ruth (Bailey) and Andrew Spicer.

She was the widow of Claude Fowler, retired from Inman Mills and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church.

Marie is survived by her grandchildren, Bobby Lee Fowler, Kathy Marie Fowler, Stacey Michelle Fowler, Patrick T Fowler and Kayla Painter, Ruby Ann Fowler, and Katelyn Elaine Fowler, all of Campobello.

Marie is also survived by
two sisters, Exxie Matthews, of Chesnee; Betty Parris, of Campobello;
two brothers, James Spicer, of Rutherfordton, NC; Simon Spicer, of Campobello, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Ricky Fowler.

The family is at the home of her brother, 10109 New Cut Road, Campobello and will receive friends Friday, June 22, 2012 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at the Seawright Funeral Chapel, at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 22nd, with Dr Reggie Parker officiating.

Burial will be in Cooley Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Chesnee, SC
